Selon Météo France, le vent et la houle australe seront bien présents cet après-midi.
Vent de Sud et houle australe sont les phénomènes marquants du jour !
En cette fin de de matinée, les nuages sont très présents sur le Sud de l’île avec de faibles ondées sur le flanc sud du volcan.
Ailleurs, le ciel est moins chargé laissant encore place à de belles éclaircies mais les nuages se développent dans l’intérieur ; au départ le long des pentes puis par la suite dans les Cirques, les sommets restent souvent dégagés sous un beau soleil.
Cet après-midi, le ciel reste très nuageux sur le Sud avec de faibles averses. On peut également craindre quelques gouttes sur les hauts du Nord. Le long du littoral, temps plus clément sous un ciel moins nuageux.
Les températures maximales varient sur le littoral de 21°C à Saint-Philippe à 27°C au Port, et sont voisines de 18°C à Cilaos, 17°C à Takamaka, et environ 11°C au Maïdo et au volcan.
Le vent de secteur Sud continue d’être bien présent et se renforce temporairement en journée, avec des rafales proches de 70/80 km/h voire localement 90 km/h au Nord de l’ Etang-Salé et sur la côte Est de Sainte-Rose à Sainte-Suzanne.
Les plages de l’Ouest sont largement ventées en journée avec là aussi des rafales de 70 à 75 km/h alors que le littoral Nord de Saint-Denis au Port reste déventé.
La mer est agitée à forte au vent et au déferlement de la houle de Sud-Ouest qui se situe en moyenne entre 3m et 3m50 sur le littoral Sud-Ouest et Sud soit de la Pointe des Galets à La Pointe de la Table.
Le temps reste très humide sur une grande moitié Sud de l’île avec des pluies et averses plus marquées sur les flancs du volcan. On ne peut exclure quelques flocons mêlés à la pluie voire du verglas au Piton des Neiges et au Grand Bénare.
Le vent de Sud-Est reste vigoureux avec des pointes de 60 à 70 km/h le long des façades Ouest et Est de l’île ainsi que sur les sommets.
