Une Californienne, habitant à Sacramento, a découvert en rentrant ce mardi 11 octobre que sa maison mobile avait été volée.
Dans la soirée du mardi 11 octobre, Malinda Crichton, une musicienne de Sacramento en Californie, a eu la plus désagréable des surprises en rentrant chez elle. En effet, sa maison a été volée, pas seulement les meubles, mais bien toute la maison ! Afin de pouvoir partir en tournée, la femme avait décidé d’acheter une maison sur roulettes. Malgré qu’elle ait pris toutes les précautions nécessaires pour protéger sa maison en la fermant à l’aide de cadenas et de chaînes, il semblerait que cela n’a pas découragé les voleurs. Ces derniers ont probablement tracté la maison derrière une voiture, profitant de la nuit.
Heureusement pour Malinda Crichton, les malfaiteurs ont dû se décourager en cours de route. Quelques heures après le cambriolage, la police de Sacramento a retrouvé la maison mobile dans un parking d’un centre commercial à l’ouest de la ville. Sans aucun dommage notable, la musicienne a pu réemménager tout de suite. "C’est la première fois que j’entends une histoire pareille", a témoigné le sergent Roger Kinney à Fox news, comme rapporté par 20 Minutes. Il se peut que Malinda dégonfle les pneus de sa maison mobile avant de partir prochainement au travail.
