Le n°1 Français s’est qualifié ce mercredi pour le troisième tour de Roland-Garros en s’imposant face au Finlandais Jarkko Nieminen en trois manches (7-6, 6-4, 6-3).
Après avoir réalisé un premier tour expéditif lundi 27 mai en remportant la victoire face au Slovène Aljaz Bedene (6-2, 6-2, 6-3), Jo-Wilfried Tsonga s’est qualifié ce mercredi 29 mai pour le troisième tour.
Le Manceau s’est imposé face à Jarkko Nieminen en trois manches (7-6, 6-4, 6-3). Tsonga. Il retrouvera Jérémy Chardy ou l’Espagnol Roberto Bautista Agut pour une place en huitième de finale.
